DESCRIPTION:

All 3 frames are only 1 land impact. The quadruple & constellation frames are themed after one of the 13 zodiac signs. (Yes, 13, not 12. See below.) The frames have 6 wood options via touch menu. All shadows are tintable.

BLANK FRAME: In addition to the 6 wood options has a built in image shadow to add more realism to any image you add. The inner shadow can be turned on or off via the menu. It is also tintable, as are all the back wall shadows.

CONSTELLATION FRAME: has twinkling stars that represent the actual constellation and, in addition to the 6 frame textures, has 2 starry background options.

QUADRUPLE FRAME: has 4 panels, also with 6 wood options. The first panel shows the sign's symbol and name as well as what house it represents in the new system. The 2nd panel is a star map in the area of that particular constellation. The 3rd panel has a drawing of the constellation plus a list of attributes, the main one being in larger print at the bottom, representing the nature of those who fall under that sign. The 4th panel is a vintage style sign listing more facts about the sign including the dates it spans, it's element, symbol identifier and largest star.

NEW ZODIAC 13:

The Zodiac 13 set represents the new, updated zodiac including Ophiuchus, the latest sign added and recognized by the IAU (International Astronomical Union). See the included notecard called 'A Brief Explanation' for more info on this new zodiac system.

Ecliptic: a large circle on the celestial sphere that marks the sun’s apparent path during the year.
Sun Sign: The constellation the sun is in on the day you were born.

Traditional astrology divides the sky along the ecliptic band into 12 equal 30 degree segments. These segments are named after the 12 zodiacal constellations but don't necessarily align with them perfectly. The sun travels, seemingly, along the ecliptic band in the sky and moves through the constellations, spending time in each. This system was adopted thousands of years ago by the Babylonians, ignoring the 13th constellation which also touched the ecliptic to make the system nice and tidy, fitting into its 12 month system; one constellation per month. It also does not take into account general precession, or the slow wobble of the earth's axis, making the sun seem to appear in different locations today than it did thousands of years ago on the same day of the year.

The new, more accurate system not only includes all constellations in contact with the ecliptic, including those disregarded by traditional astrology, but also takes into account the width of each constellation and the number of days the sun actually spends in each of them. This further throws off the dates of the traditional zodiac. In actuality, the sun does not spend the same amount of time in each constellation as the Babylonian system would indicate. This updated system is believed, by many, to be a truer zodiacal system.
