1. Basic Information

- The M42 is Copy, Mod, and No Trans.

- To use the M42 Helmet, simply wear it.

- Because every head in SL is a different size and shape, The helmet will most likely need to resized and repositioned for a proper fit.

- The metal shell, straps, and optional cover can all be changed through the touch menu brought up by clicking on the helmet

- Updates will include new variations, new covers, wire mesh and netting, and will be provided for free as they are finished.

2. Background Information

- The metal shell currently comes with 17 variations, including simple colors like greens and greys, various camouflage patterns, and several with markings representing some of the various users of the Stahlhelm, including foreign volunteers and resistance fighters with captured helmets.

- Variations with markings include Medic, Finnish, French, Russian, Spanish, Indian, Chinese, Croatian, and Polish.
- Chinese variant is green with the Kuomintang emblem, representing the helmets used by the Nationalist Chinese forces during WWII and the Chinese Civil War.
- Finnish variant is grey with a hand-painted skull across the front of the helmet, as was a common practice of Finnish forces during the Continuation War.
- French variant is tan with French flags painted on the sides, representing a helmet used by the 33rd Charlemagne Division.
- Russian represents a helmet of the Russian Liberation Army.
- Indian represents a helmet of the Indische Legion.
- Spanish represents the Blue Division.
- Croatian represents the Handschar division.
- Polish variant is black with a hand-painted "Orzeł Biały"or White Eagle on the front with Polish flags on the sides, representing a helmet captured and used by the Polish Home Army.

I have tried many Stahlhelm and this is by far the best and most realistic I have ever seen in SL and at a very cheap price. Thank you!

This is a very high quality, easy to use stahlhelm, and i especially like the multitude of camo and insignia options. definitely worth the price and more
