Winning Post

The Winning Post is a game monitor which will display the 10 most frequent winners as floating text over a single-prim post. It can be customised for any game that announces the winner's name at the end of a game.

To set up a Winning Post, the game is played to identify the text strings which precede and follow the winner's name, which are then specified on the data notecard in the Post's Content. After the next game is played, Winning Post will acquire the game key to ensure that no spurious messages will be accepted, and will display the first and subsequent winners which will be displayed in rank order.

FIVE ready-made data notecards are supplied for convenience, for the popular games Blitz, Hangman, Skipee, Skippo, Stix.

It is impossible to anticipate all possible formats of winning message. If you find that you cannot capture the data of a particular game, please send me a copy of the winning message and I will endeavour to modify the script to accommodate it.
