The idea is good but is not same the creation.
The product is not like in the picture. The dress Is not at all right fitted for Maitreya (it's too large on neck especially on back and also on buttocks).
The glitter effect is not existing at all. There is just a normal texture on a transparent mesh. Nothing else!
For this reason the HUD color is enough useless because if you set a strong color, the textures becomes ugly like a dress for free, that could be worn by a newbie avatar, only. Embarrassing...
In fact there is not the white/silver color like in picture. If you try to set white, the textures looks always too dark looking grey (and grey is not silver).
So... if the dress were MOD, we could change the color and the shape on SL editor without an useless HUD. But this is not possible.
I'm sorry but I'm not satisfied with the purchase. Of course not for this price (L$ 199).

I was actually quite excited to try out this lingerie, after reading so many great reviews. However, actually trying on this piece was an extreme disappointment, for the following reasons:

1) Even with ultra graphics on, my Advanced Lighting Model selected, and several windlights tried, there was no amount of glitter effect. I don't know what kind of specular map is on this garment, since textures are obviously locked, but I found the only amount of glitter was in the tiny white sparkles actually painted onto the texture. Rather underwhelming.
2) The fit is unimpressive. It's kind of a flat piece, that doesn't hug the body as well as I would like (except at the buttcrack, where it sinks in, in that rather unflattering way). I have both the Maitreya and Slink Hourglass bodies and the fit on both was surprisingly loose, especially around the neckline and at the hips. The one bonus to this is that I can wear my Vajayjay on my Maitreya body and it doesn't clip into the crotch because it's roomy. So there's that, I guess.
3) The color options do little to improve upon the texture. Yes, there are TONS of color options. That doesn't change the fact that there is no sparkle or shine to this item. In fact, the darker colors just seem to eat up the texture and any kind of painted on glitter disappears into the hue.

I understand that the seller, per her listing description, wants the opportunity to fix the product before a negative review is added. However, there isn't really much she can do, other than update the specular map and/or rig the product better. Let's be honest, those things aren't going to happen. Shame there wasn't a demo, but I put my trust in the reviews. Big mistake. At least I'm only out 199.

This item is lovely, sheer with glitter accents. Does not have the floating glitter as shown in the picture, but does have a nice glittery effect when zoomed in to the item when graphics settings are set correctly for "materials". Great for pictures or when in close proximity. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because when you are zoomed out at a distance that you would likely be standing away from someone, the glitter effect disappears and no matter the color choice of the item, it appears to be a darker charcoal color, this is a bit disappointing. Otherwise, very nice item and fits the Slink Physique body very well.
