Does as it should but wasn't specific enough
I read the reviews and all, which one did leave me to hope that this script would work. I needed a script that allowed me to sell to a specific group, vip members. Sadly I don't own the land that I rent my shop on and thus have to use a specific "vendor" group to rez items and once rezzed, I cannot change the item group.
So if you rent your shop space and want/need to use a script for a group that isn't the land group and cannot change the group in which the item you intend to sell, don't bother with this script.
Did not work for me!
I could not get this to work for me. I followed all three steps but could not get others to buy it. I took three hours to fiddle around with it. I'm mad because I need to spend more money to buy another one.
not working correctly
I bought this script a few days ago and tried to get a hold of the creator by notecard twice and by IM, no answer back. Problem, I cant get the hover text to work. I did everything as perscripted in the notecard and still no hover text, so my members wont know how many items are still left. Other then that the script works, meaning it sells the item only to my group members, not to others. But still would REALY need the hover text.

I was struggling to figure out how to sell an item to a particular group, for a certain price, while limiting the total number sold. I was trying to meet a deadline, was being pushed to get this done and was very frustrated with my vendor system and another script I had. A friend suggested this script to me in the middle of my ordeal, and I have to say it was probably the best 250L I have spent.
Easily, I was able to set a limited quantity of an item as a promo to a particular group for a particular price. For me, I rezzed a box, added my packaged item, dropped in the script, set the quantity in the description of the rezzed box...presto! I was very very pleased. Now, I have the script I can do this easily and quickly in the future.
