POLYP
----------

Let the polyp put you in a stirring ride. Up and down and twisted all around.

o Rez the polyp ride in a region with enabled scripts.
.. At first You will see the building without the interior.
o Now move the polyp building to your appropriate place.
o Press the floor of the building to bring up a menu.
o press the "wall"-button for rezzing the wall (behind the preventer with the blue and black tape)
o press the "rez"-button to rez the ride

---( take a ride )-----------------------------------------------------------

o Take a seat in one of the polyps cars.
o Touch the polyp pictures at the middle pillar to start the funfair ride.

---( administration )--------------------------------------------------------

o Touch the bottom of the polyp building if you want to do some
.. administration tasks. A menu offers several options:

rez ............... rez the movable parts of the ride
wall .............. rez the wall behind the preventer with the blue and black tape
delete .......... delete the movable parts of the ride
config .......... offers a sub menu with several movement profiles
reset ............ reset the polyp (derezzing and script reset)
music-- ........ lowers the music
music++ ...... increases the music
noise-- ......... lowers the the engine noise
noise++ ....... increases the engine noise
pub on/off .... switches the public access on/off (only start the ride)
close ........... close the menu

o Sub menu "config":

>> ................ next page
<< ................ previous page
close ............ close the menu, do nothing
1..9 .............. select a listed movement profile

If you run in a menu timeout close the menu and touch the polyp bottom again.

---( trouble shooting )--------------------------------------------------------

The movement of the polyp movable parts is based on the "Key Framed Motion"-functionality of Second Life.
Under certain circumstances (low sim FPS, low physics FPS) the key framed motion will be not accurate.
I suppose there 's no recipe at all.

---( used tools )-------------------------------------------------------------------------

o blender
o gimp
o sonic-pi
o lsleditor
o firestorm

---( statistics )-------------------------------------------------------------------------

19 objects
73 prims
42 land impact

----------------------------------------------------------------------------

Have a lot of fun (no barf bag needed).

Best Regards
Kai Gelbert

FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC! Finally an efficient smooth Polyp ride!

I own and run Masters Park Amusement Park, where we have over 70+ rides and attractions always in operation, and one of my favorites for look and for movement is the Polyp ride. I originally had the Polyp from "Premium Rides" company, and while it does look gorgeous, beautiful mesh, lighting etc. - it is one of the most buggy rides I have ever owned. The cars lag on and off, and sometimes the cars fly off the ride and end up all over the sim. HOWEVER - with THIS version of Polyp, the ride is smooth, lag-free, very efficient and just a pleasure to run. Excellent! Keep up the great work, Kai Tech! Thanks - - Brick Masters
