What started with the simple question “How creepy was art prior to 1900?” has become a bit of an obsession. Turns out a lot of it was quite creepy. I have been putting up rotating exhibits ever since, which you will find here in addition to the frames I created for them.

I have taken great care to create detailed alphas on each frame. All art is in the proportion of the original work. If you resize please do so from the corner to maintain those proportions The artist, the name of the work, and relevant dates are noted on each piece. If I have made an error, please let me know. I strive for accuracy.
