NO MAGIC. You need invisible prims to walk by stairs. Stairs MUST BE SET to phantom. Invisible prims to NON PHANTOM. Samples include this prims.

Notes:
It is 2-3 prims include walking prims sculpt stairs with rails. Visible stairs 1 prim.
As it is impossible to make them walkable with rails, you need to use invisible prims, or visible, depends how you plan to decorate building.
So why you need such prim item ?.
Here are four sculpts. 3 sculpt maps are doubled stairs in one sculpt, And 1 with reduced twice weight in KB is single stairs.
Samples all comes with half-transparent prims that shows you a shape of invisible prim that is optimal using to reduce prims.
So there are 2 walking invisible prims and 1 prim for doubled stairs=3 prims instead of 4 you would need to use stairs from other brands.
And 2 prims include invisible prim single stairs, The same to any other brand.
Maybe not much you won using this pack. But 1 prim less - sometimes helpfull too ).
Also sculpt maps made to be compatible with ANY texture.. so you can apply textures without distortions. For example edged textures will add you shadow volume for stairs. And this texture edges will be in right place at the steps edges.

Recommendations:
- Use stitch: none or flat;
- Textures Repeats per faces : U:128,V:4 Offset 0.5 0.5
