Why is it legal?
Simply because it is a competative game that involves no random element.
How does it work?
The sploder has a configurable fixed payin.
The first payment starts the game. This payment goes completely into the pot and starts a countdown.
As long as the countdown is running anyone else can takeover the game by paying the sploder.
If someone does, part of this payment raises the pot and the countdown is restarted.
When the countdown reaches zero the last payer gets the pot.
How can it be configured?
All configurations are done by notecards.
It contains a language notecard, setting it to german language.
This can be modified to match any other language.
For english it can be removed.
All settings are made in the config notecard.
What can be configured?
payin (default 10) The amount that needs to be payed to play (start game or take over).
topot (default 8) This amount of each payment goes to the jackpot. First payment goes to the jackpot completely.
Values higher than payin will raise a warning on setup, but they are possible.
WARNING!
We strongly recommend to only use this option for promotion in a controlled environment, since you would add to the pot with each payment, giving two players working together the option to draw money out of your pocket very quickly.
time (default 60) Time in seconds for others to take over the game.
countdown (default 10) Number of seconds for countdown in chat.
saygamestart (default true) Send message in open chat when a new game is started.
shoutgamestart (default false) Shout game start message (saygamestart must be TRUE).
saytakeover (default true) Send message in open chat when a game was taken over.
shouttakeover (default false) Shout takeover message (saytakeover must be TRUE).
saycountdownstart (default true) Send message in open chat when countdown starts.
shoutcountdownstart (default false) Shout countdown start message (saycountdownstart must be TRUE).
saycountdown (default true) Countdown in open chat.
shoutcountdown (default false) Shout countdown (saycountdown must be TRUE).
saywinner (default true) Send message in open chat when someone wins the game.
shoutwinner (default false) Shout winner message (saywinner must be TRUE).
hovercolor (default white) Color vector for hovertext.
hoveralpha (default solid) Alpha value for hovertext (between 0.0 and 1.0).
particles (default true) Show particles when game ends.
texture (default green L$ texture) Texture for particles (particles must be TRUE).
