Chessboard Versión 2.0

Great chess board ! I was dreaming to get one on SL world and be able to play with friends at my home. Really beautiful and not heavy on the land, intuitive, simple to use and low price ! And the surprise to be able to play against a computer with many levels of difficult ! I'm so happy because i'm a beginner in chess play and it is so cool play with a good partner always free when i want ! - thank you so much, i will recommend it to my friends !

This is a really nice chess board. It looks beautiful (especially when you set the textures set to shiny) and the scripts for playing are very responsive and intuitive. The pieces move very nicely and quickly. It highlites the last made move and really has all the chess rules implemented correctly and does not let you make any "ïllegal" moves.

But it does not allow for taking back any moves though once a move is completed. This on one hand is of course absolutely a proper thing according to the official chess rules and it does make perfect sense with this board, since this board comes with an integrated automatic ranking system for players using this board.

But for beginners and when not playing very seriously or competitively or when teaching kids or new players, this can be annoying though. And in SL it does of course happen that things occasionally get laggy or unresponsive and you accidentally make a wrong move by clicking wrong. So do be a little careful after activating a piece when starting a move to fetch the right field on the board when clicking to finish the move and pay attention to the game and think you moves through.

It comes with a built in automatic chess clock that lets you deactivate it or select from a variety of reasonable preset time limits for playing. It lets you set it to 5, 10, 20, 30 minutes, 1 or 2 hours, a full day or a full week of time per player (so the double of these times is the respective maximum game duration).

it's modifiable, so it lets you resize it and recolor it or replace textures in case you're interested in doing any of that. I set my board to shiny and believe it looks even nicer that way.

One surprising but really nice thing I noticed, is that this board is "wearable" on the avatar and still works when you do! Although it can occasionally create an error message at the start, but it does let you play chess while wearing it (best on avatar center), so you can potentially play chess almost anywhere!

My best friend and I purchased several board games for our homestead, it adds so much fun! Game plays smoothly!

I love that I can play vs friends and vs computer, and that the wooden look is beautiful. Most realistic board I have saw on SL.

This is perfect! It sizes beautifully to any setting and works a treat allowing it to be used on a tabletop or as a garden display.
The choice of player v player or play v computer is also a great feature. I am yet to beat the computer on level 9 difficulty, but I have set myself a challenge!
