DMS Boat Security add-on v1.34 (DEMO)

Imagine you are sunbathing on your yacht, or worse, afk, and an un-invited stranger boards the vessel, Once a stranger gains access to your boat by sitting on the boat, he or she can change animations, open doors, windows, turn all electrical switches, turn the shower on, and generally create chaos. If that ever happened to you then you will know what it is like to feel completely powerless to do anything about that, You can't even stand up while at sea because the boat will get returned to inventory. Griefers entering your vessel during a race can cause you to lose the race as your cam gets reset while griefer tries the animation menu.

With the Dolphin Power Security by Dolphin Marine Services you are back in control. This intelligent powerful security system adds an access list to your vessel and was created from the ground up with user friendly operation in mind.

After activating the included gesture, you can use the default hotkey CTRL- - (minus) to activate the menu. This is useful when sailing so you do not have to type much. (You can of course change the hotkey to anything you like by editing the gesture.)

The DPS security system could also be activated by regular chat commands. But this is not required when using the gesture menu hotkey.

Commands and features:
/3soft = this unsits unauthorized avatars gently (default setting)
/3 strong = this ejects unauthorized avatars to 4000m height (only when moored).
/3add or /3scan = scans around the vessel and lists avatars in a menu for easy adding to the white list.
/3del or /3delete = presents a list of currently white listed avatars for easy removal
/3list = outputs the current white list into owner only chat
/3clear or /3delete all = deletes the entire white list
/3man or /manual = provides you with a text box to enter a legacy avatar name, this way you can still add someone that is not in the sim or even online at that moment.
/3 number = change the listening channel to another number (don't forget to change the gesture too)
/3menu = present most of the above in a menu, most easily activated by the gesture.

When you want a friend to sit on the boat, you can ask them not to board the vessel just yet. You as the owner can then activate the security system by clicking CTRL- - (minus) or typing /3menu to get the menu. You can then click SCAN to see your friends name presented on a menu button, click the button and your friend will be added to the access white list of your boat. He/she gets a message that you have entered their name on the passenger list and welcome them to come on board.

Anytime an avatar sits that before they are authorized he or she will be unseated immediately, forcefully or not depending on your settings, and you will get a popup asking if you would like to add that avatar to the access white list. After the owner clicks the YES button the avatar gets a message that he or she is welcome to sit.

You can delete a single user, or delete the whole list, you can set the security to soft or strong, these options seem self explanatory.

When you delete a person from the white list that is currently sitting on the boat, the user will be unseated automaticly.

The whole system was designed to be as intuitive and user friendly as possible and to require the least amount of manual typing. Just plug and play.

Note that this script is designed especially for the vessel named in the title and will not work on another vessel.

Instructions for install:
1) Drop the script in the contents of the boat.
2) Activate the included gesture.
3) Hit CTRL - (minus) to activate menu.

You can always get this script redelivered either on MP or via Caspervend redeliveries. Sometimes newer versions are sent out automatically.

Instructions for updating to a new version:
1) Drop the script in the contents of the boat.
It will look for previous versions of itself and delete them automatically. No need to manually delete.
2) You might want to add people to the fresh access list.
3) Done.
