Nice
This set contains twelve hula animations, each unique. I'm not a kumu nor a member of a halau so I don't recognize the stories being told... but that won't matter to most observers. A couple of friends from home saw me using this and they bought individual dances too. A side note: no one in Hawaii wears grass skirts and coconut bras; that nonsense is for tourists. It was invented by missionaries in the 1800s who couldn't handle the sight of locals who were all comfortable in their own skin! The same missionaries prompted the Hawaiian king to outlaw hula, which was always a language of movements used to tell stories, explain history, everything that written languages do in other parts of the world. In the 1970s, 1990s, and 2010s hula and Kanaka culture has begun to rebloom, and hula is rightly embraced again. Would love it if chants were available, and a male hula version for my friend. But I guess that's kinda niche :-)
love it
