Ito's - Japanese shrine / garden lantern (灯楼)

In Japan a tōrō (灯籠 or 灯篭, 灯楼 light basket, light tower?) is a traditional lantern made of stone, wood, or metal. Like many other elements of Japanese traditional architecture, it originated in China, however extant specimen in that country are very rare, and in Korea they are not as common as in Japan. In Japan, tōrō were originally used only in Buddhist temples, where they lined and illuminated paths. During the Heian period (794-1185), however, they started being used also in Shinto shrines and private homes.

This lantern here is build according an original lamp from a japanese shinto shrine. This lantern here is scripted and completely mesh. It comes with a land impact of 2 (in delivery size).

The owner can switch the light on/off, can dim the light, or aktivate the automatic day-night controler.

Scope of delivery

The lantern comes in a version with stick, and a stickless version (a wooden stick has been added too).
The stickless version is slightly larger for the same land impact, than the version with wood stick.

Note:

The lamp is modifiable (exept the script), so you can change the size. But note the landimpact can rise while resizing!
