The gift boxes are mesh objects that are soft linked to the root prim. When linked to the root prim they have a land impact of over one hundred prims. With the mesh gift boxes soft linked, the land impact is one prim. Therefore, when you rezz your snowglobe, keep in mind when moving it to use your soft link option, or move the gifts on each side of the tree accordingly.
