Continuing our three-year tradition, this unusual clock resembles a 1960's computer terminal with colored, blinking lights, yet this clock is easy to read once you know the secret. The 6 columns act like the 6 digits on a digital clock (two hours, two minutes, two seconds) and are displayed in binary. To read the numbers, add up the values of each row as follows:
* 8
* 4
* 2
* 1
So, for example, the clock in the advertisement is displaying the time 12:42 PM.
For basic use, rez the clock somewhere and you're done. By default, the clock is set to display Second Life time in 12 hour format and works right out of the box. If you want to change the timezone, light colors, refresh speed, or 24-hour vs 12-hour time, edit the clock and doubleclick on the __config__ notecard which you'll find on the contents tab. Instructions for editing the card are contained within.
