I needed mesh heart for a project that had sides more like those candy hearts. I could find nothing that was close enough to what I needed in the marketplace, so I made it. And now here it is, as a full perm mesh for you to use as you please.
The texture mapping is a projection from either face, and an unwrap of either side. The sides are pretty straightforward to map without a UV map, any rectangular texture will fit on fine. I included a copy of the face's texture mapping in case you want to matching something up with the beveled edge, like gold edging in case you were making a locket or something.
The mesh weighs in at a download weight of .8. Despite being close to 1 prim, two manage to link together to make a 1 LI object on my experimenting.
- Sufficiently low Prim equiv that two link together to make a 1 LI object
- 4 texture faces: front, back, left side, right side
- UV map template for the faces included, side mapping is pretty straightforward.
