The word 'Funkis' is a abbreviation of the word “funktionalism” which refers to the functionalist style developed in the early 20th century. 'Funkis' is used to discribe the Scandinavian variant of the functionalist architectural movement in Europe.

This home have two floors connected by a wodden staircase. On the ground floor: entrance, hallway and kitchen. On the first floor: living room and lounge/bedroom. From both floors there is access to a terrace.

All floors are covered with parquet flooring in ash except in the kitchen which is covered by spanish taracotta tiles.
