MyPad Pro 4th gen + Keyboard [dby]

Very pretty product! If you'd like to stand around using a tablet it's great but if you want to use it seated you cannot you'd have to use some sort of pose system to get yourself seated properly. I do wish that in the product description it would've stated that this tablet animated the legs and you'd not be able to use it while sitting on furniture.

The only thing that would make this any better was the ability for it to be modify.

Sadly this is nomod in *both* the wearable and rezzable versions so, unlike the ZenBook I also own from here, I can't take it down to only the open/close script and add my own to make it interactive with external systems I use. It says nomod, so I can't be too upset about it, but I was hoping it would be like other DBY stuff that is nomod but also has a mod version tucked away in the box.

Please do consider including a mod version as well as the nomod HUD controlled one in your packages for those of use who like to integrate them with eternal systems (and not just adding MyStory because it's the fad now, not everyone uses the same systems) or use them to control other things in our homes and need to be able to add scripts to the item to do this.

I'm still giving it four stars, though, if you want one to wear and play with as an avatar accessory it is by far the best option, just don't expect to be able to use it as anything more than an animated toy as is. It looks as good as any DBY stuff rezzed out, so if you want it to *only* open/close and change the screen it works for rezzing just fine It's 4 LI rather than 1-2 like the competing ones are, but has very good details so the extra cost to rezz it is worth it.

On a basic level it would be nice to be able to hide the tablet when wearing the attached version so the dock could remain on your desk while you are holding the tablet itself, though. If it were mod I could just add a script to it that alphaed out (or back in) the second item (the tablet itself) in the linkset when it hears hidden chat sent on attach or detach from another script dropped in the attached version, but I can't do it myself with the permissions here, so it's a feature I have to hope gets added by the maker rather than just making it work on my own.

Very good and intuitive use.

The tablet is very nicely made with a lot of attention to detail. Still, I am disappointed. Almost every simple object you buy in SL has a choice of animations. This tablet can only be used while standing. The desk tablet has no animation at all. It is for decoration only. I really wish I could sit with my tablet.
