NAVIGATOR PROJECT

IMPORTANT: This product undergoes updates. To get the latest version go to SL Geography Institute, Valarian (176,16,1281).

The Navigator is a project to make, share and use routes. Unlike other navigation HUDs, this one also has an inworld server designed to allow people to share the routes they have made.

SUITABLE FOR:
- airplanes
- boats
- cars
- helicopters
- submarines
- horses
- walking
- any type of vehicle, rideable or wearable.

HOW IT WORKS
0. First time you use it, wear the 'Navigator Info' HUD to see a quick intro.
1. Go along the route with the 'Compass HUD' turned on.
2. The HUD will tell you the navpoints in chat.
3. Write the navpoints on a notecard.
4. Configure the notecard.
5. Put the notecard in the 'Navigator HUD'.
6. You can ride again along the route and the HUD will tell you the way to go.

Each route is made of a notecard and consists of a series of navpoints.

In addition, you can:
- Go to Navigator Library to upload your route notecard so others can use it.
- Download from Navigator Library routes made by others.
- Build your own server on your land to share the routes you have and let them share their routes with you.

CONTENTS (essential to use):
<> Navigator Compass (a device that helps you make a route)
<> Navigator HUD (a device that helps you navigate by following a route)
<> Navigator Info (use as a HUD, quick help if you get stuck at any point)

CONTENTS (optional to use):
<> Navigator Server (if you want to share routes on your own land)
<> Navigator Checker (to make sure a route is properly set)
<> Navigator Back Reader (to configure the route back)

FOR SHARING ROTUES:

<> Navigator Library (landmark) is an inworld place where you can download routes made by others or upload your own routes for others to use.

HOW IT WORKS

It works based on two things:
NAVPOINTS are fixed waypoints along the route.
ROUTES are notecards with navpoints.

0. Read the 'Navigator Instructions' first.
1. Ride along your route with the 'Navigator Compass' turned on.
2. The compass will find and tell you navpoints in chat.
3. Write the navopints said by compass on a notecard.
4. Configure the notecard as shown in the instructions.
5. Put the notecard inside the 'Navigator HUD'.
6. Using the 'Navigator HUD', ride along the route. The HUD will tell you the way to go.

IN ADDITION

1. Configure a 'Navigator Server' on your land for anyone to upload or download routes.
2. Download routes to the 'Navigator Library' for anyone to use.
3. Upload routes from the library for anyone to use.
