I would appreciate some positive reviews or online/offline questions as this product is new!
Ever want to wear a notecard with good formatting support as a HUD? Well here you go!
This HUD uses a mini webpage rendered entirely within the local script to allow you to read and write notes right on your screen. With 8 pages and 2000 bytes each, up to 8 scrolling pages of text can fit everything you need in your weekly and daily Second Life!
Each of the style options add a little extra data, so if you have a lot to store and think you're hitting the limit, use formatting minimally. A full tab will have roughly 8 scrolling pages of text, so that may not be any time soon!
Copy and paste is supported, but as it's a HUD in SecondLife, right clicking is not. You will need to click-drag to highlight and CTRL+C to copy, and CTRL+V to paste.
Sadly, some characters are off limits due to the design, specifically I have troubles with / and +. When I find a solution, I will be pushing a free update!
Data is saved within the prim parameters and is safe while worn as a HUD. As with anything with potentially sensitive info, protect yourself by never rezzing or wearing as a non-HUD attachment!

GOD TIER NOTEPAD IN SL
I really love this notepad. As a creator I always have a million lists going be it product ideas, to do lists, event information, or just things like items I want to remember to pick up I ALWAYS have to keep a notepad file open on my desktop. Sure, it's not a really big inconvenience to tab back and forth, but it's an inconvenience none the less. This is so much better. It's right there on my HUD and I can edit it as I go and look at it while I'm working without having to tab back and forth.
I do want to mention the "lag" talked about in another review. There is about a 1-2 second delay when you change tabs, but that's unavoidable and not the creator's fault. Just like any media operated item in SL, it has to load the page. I don't mind it really and will take the media loading moment over having to tab back and forth out of SL into an external notepad.
Seriously, this is a great item and I've been telling everyone about it since I purchased it. I've been trying to think of improvements to suggest since I began writing this review but I haven't been able to think of a single one!
I so wanted to love this....but
I am so sorry to give it lower stars. It just doesn't work very well for me. In busy sims, it's very laggy or never loads at all. I have really, really bad ADHD and that's why when I saw it I was overjoyed that someone had thought of this! Unfortunately, I need something I have written to stay on that notepad right in front of me and not disappear if I click off the hud. Out of sight, out of mind with me sadly. Aesthetically, it's perfect! I love the layout and the mini toolbar as well. All in all it's a perfect concept but I just wish the execution was a little better. But hey, if there's an update I'm very much inclined to give it a go. Thanks.
Great concept and living up to it so far
If this works as advertised and atm moment it has so far I will be super happy. This concept is amazing and for many tasks in SL from me as a real estate manager to builders to club management and millions of other uses. I will message you with any issues or bugs that I come across as you said is new but working great so far with relogs and crashes data is still there. Thanks for making this.
