I'm pleased to release this gnarly old oak tree, complete with base and ferns.
This represents somewhat of an evolution in how I process LODs for tree foliage. I've developed a unique , efficient approach that doesn't require an extra texture to billboard the plant and looks good from all angles. You don't need to do any fancy debug settings and the tree won't crumple from a distance. Please see for yourself by clicking 'view video' at the bottom of this page.

You can control the seasons from the supplied HUD. These being:

Spring, Summer, Autumn 1, Autumn 2 and Winter.

Land impact is 32li - at supplied size

Permissions are:

Model - Copy/Mod/No Trans

Scripts - Copy/No Mod/No Trans

Please refer to image 6 to see the exact contents or the items tab at the top of this page.

The models can also be seen in-world by following the link below.

Not biased, either.
Beautiful oak, perfect for fairies (and all woodland critters).

Full disclosure: I've long been a fan of Cube's work. This Oak is *so* lovely! It's got season change (including two Autumn settings!), and I can choose weather or not to have it animate. The materials on it are perfect, too. This is definitely one of the best Oak Trees you can find in Second Life.
