The Raytheon MIM-23 HAWK ("Homing All the Way Killer") is an American medium-range surface-to-air missile.
The Hawk System is Vice Combat
Misilles are VICE CMB
Different modes :
- "Normal" - This is the default operation mode that the radar system will start on rez. Targets are chosen by the operator and the missiles are fired from the fire button. Range = anywhere on same sim up to 1000m away.
- "Sentry" - This is for unattended operation of the launcher. Targets will be automatically fired upon if they are within a 96 meter range ABOVE the system and SEATED on objects and NOT same group as the console.
- "Target" - In Normal mode, this brings up a list of avatars on sim. Any avatar on sim can be targeted and the missile launcher will start to track them. As long as they are seated on object, they can be fired upon.
