After not finding what I was looking for, I created this pier and supports.
It has an automatically placement feature that allows supports to be placed under the pier where you rez it, reaching down to the ground.

You can also select what height you want for the supports through the menu or even edit it manually, making it useful for other building projects too.

The Pier is fully mesh and comes with two texture options, wood and metal. Both the pier and support have several faces that can be textured, so different textures can be applied to the same pier or support.
The support are partial mesh, allowing easy editing to the height you want.

Both are modify and copy, giving you the option to texture and size it to your liking.

Instructions:
========
Simply click the pier or support and a menu will be shown, allowing you to easily rez and size supports.

To change the textures manually, right click and edit the pier or support, then using Select Face you can change a set of textures.

To edit the height manually for the support, right click and edit the support, then using the Edit Linked option, you can select the beam and size it how you want and moving the top section manually into position.

Be Aware:
=======
-Unlinking the support, or linking it to something else, will create problems with the script. For this reason, the script will automatically remove itself in such a case.
-Like everything mesh, resizing (other than the support beam) might increase the land impact.
-When rezzing supports, the old supports are not automatically deleted. Keep this in mind when moving your pier around.
