This off-sim landscape is made of high quality sculpted mega prims with state of the art baked textures. It has a couple of properties that make them better than others:
INNOVATIONS
----------------
- All surface textures have normal maps. These normal maps dramatically increase the details seen on the landscape surface, especially when your sun has a low altitude (i.e. sunrise, sunset). NOTE: normal maps can only be seen when Advanced Lighting is enabled!
- With the HUD you can change seasons. All four seasons can be chosen!
- All tree textures have normal maps as well, which makes them appear to have a 3D shape, like real trees do. Even when being lit from behind the trees appear to have a realistic shape
- The trees further away from the sim are "billboards", which means they only have one side exactly facing the sim. By using this technique, one single mega prim can have as many as 42 trees. Trees closer to the sim have four sides so they look better when you move around on your sim or cam around
- Normally mega prim landscapes blank out the world map. All version 6 landscapes do NOT do that anymore. Your sim terrain will always stay visible on the world map!
OTHER PROPERTIES

- You can remove all unnecessary scripts after deploy or reset them in case of problems (Advanced Menu, brought up by touching the landscape for 5 seconds)
- This landscape does not obstruct any kind of sit animations
- It is copyable: keep a copy in your inventory and you can't lose it (but also can't give it back for a refund... get the demo first!)
- Matching terrain textures for all seasons are included
- A version with and one without trees are included. Don't want the trees? Use the [NO TREES] version, it will save land impact
- Besides switching between seasons, the HUD lets you change other landscape properties as well, like glow, brightness, tree type etc.

- You can use this surround on any island that does not share a full side with another region. It is not a problem if your region touches other regions at the corners
- This landscape is meant for use at sim ground level: it is not particularly suitable for use in the sky

Even Better Than I Expected
I didn't expect to have so many choices on the HUD! The surround looks great and is just what I wanted. I will be purchasing other surrounds from this creator in the future.

Fabulous, so many options
Premium product with alot of utility. Staggering number of texture options with the full product, grass, sand, lava, desert in an exhaustative number of variations. Easy to use just rez and the surround auto locates to the correct position, add the easy to use hud to change all of the various themes. The demo shows it all really.
These are really just a huge single object for which the only restriction is the cross hair central axis must be located somewhere on the actual sim itself. So we can move, rotate, elevate the entire surround to personal taste. We wanted just a few distant islands in our case so are using the no tree lower prim version lowered down from default which submerges the close parts giving us a wide habor with a wide strip of water around our homestead. By contrast the entire surround can be elevated bringing the forground off sim as close as you like. With full trees and rocks enabled via the hud this is quite an intense enclosed environment, so this product really has alot of versatile utility for different requirements.
This product cannot be delinked, texture changed via the edit menu or resized, it is essentially no mod in this respect.
A must see, and for us must have product, anyone who has a homestead should view the demo range. Thank you to the creators.
