DESCRIPTION:
This is a building kit for those who want to make a nice, green leafy plant with a matching ground shadow. The plant has 12 leaves - 1 prim all together. When you put a plant and the ground shadow together it will be 2 prims.
The plant can be made with the two textures/colors you see on the picture. The textures are baked with light and shadows to give the plant a realistic look.
As the plant itself is made without the use of alpha textures, there will be no alpha collision (when you can see other alpha textures through the texture).
Use the plant as part of a jungle theme or as a pond or river plant. It also looks great in a nice pot indoors. I have made the stems long so the leaves will be placed above the upper edges of most types of pots.
CONTENTS IN THE KIT:
- 2 Example of the plant with ground shadow, one for each texture (they serve as templates for your building your own plant so they are 'only' copy/modify)
- 1 Sculpt map - FULL PERM
- 2 baked leaf textures - FULL PERM
- 1 ground shadow texture - FULL PERM
- 1 invisible alpha texture for the sides of the ground shadow prim - FULL PERM
- Instruction notecards
HOW TO BUILD THE PLANT:
In the box you will find short and easy to follow notecards with instructions on how to build the plant.
Basically, you copy the settings from the example to get the shape and the texture repeats right.
The shadow for the plant is partly transparent and you can make it even more transparent in the build menu. I find that for the more heavily textured the ground is, the less transparent the ground shadow should be.
PERMISSIONS:
This is a kit for builders and you are given permissions to use the sculpt map and textures ONLY to resell or share as one of you own building projects and not as is. If you choose to resell or share, please make sure the permissions are changed to 'no transfer' - that will not prevent you from selling - nor will it put me out of business :-)
SEE IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT:
I think we have all bought items here on the Marketplace that looked great on the pictures but not quite so great inworld. I have taken the picture in Second Life with no post editing, except from adding the text. But you can see the plant inworld too, so you can be absolutely sure you are getting great value for your money. Just click on 'See Item in Second Life' and you will get a tp that will put you right in front of it.
SUPPORT:
As always the support has high priority so if you have a question, no matter what, please do not hesitate to contact me. I will get back to you asap.
Greetings :-)
Teresa Matfield
