The teleport is based on the movie and TV series of big hit "Stargate". Transportation is easily throughout a region. Just put at least two teleporters in the region want, edit each one and put in "Description" the name of the Teleport.
This teleporter is completely FULL and FREE. Do not be fooled. Do not pay anything for the Teleport.

Works beautifully!
I've had this one for awhile. Easy to set up and works great. Easy to modify. Regarding the review that mentioned no rings, there are indeed rings! Just make sure there is enough LI on the land to rez the rings. And there are many copies of this one being sold for many $L. This one works just as well and it is free!

Still never understood why this and every other free teleporter can go to any damn height.
Yet go and buy the Alteran Stargate groups version to help support their sim? Good luck going higher than 765meters.
There are no "rings"
the only thing it does is create the white teleport beam/effect.

only pity is the 24 character limit in the descriptions & that after resizing, the temp rezzed rings arent the size you gave the bottom ring,..i'll have to figure that out somehow, i hope that is possible,...

this thing is pretty cool...Sci-Fy'ish indeed...hehe
and at full perm, i made it more exactly like what i was looking for (smaller actually, the huge diameter rings didnt look right where i'm using it, so made it look like its for only 1 person...lol).
other teleporters i've tried (for some reason unknown to me) can't be "linked" to my house, but this still works after i link them to the main build...Yay :)
