PROS:
This attachment reads out loud everything you post to local chat.
It does this using in-game sounds. No prim media or third-party services required.
It is designed for the english language but as long as you use the same alphabet you'll get *some* result.
Listening to the script's attempts to pronounce your individual input is fun.
Chose from 4 different voices (all included).
CONS:
The voice is not easily understandable enough to replace reading chat.
Not all words are pronounces correctly and not all special characters are handled.
The first few sentences may be read out incompletely until all the sounds are loaded.
Lag can cause distortion.
CONTROLS:
Commands for use in local chat exist for:
Turning it on, turning it off, setting the volume, setting the speed, setting the character limit.
MODIFICATIONS:
Prim permissions: mod, copy, no-trans.
Script permissions: no-mod, copy, no-trans.
Audio permissions: no-mod, copy, no-trans.

Not sure what in the world is going on, but i tried every setting i can think of to try and get it to work correctly, but it just sounds like a modem regardless of setting. Voice 0 sounds more human, and then you get more and more squeaky as you select one of the other TTS Voice options.
From what i can hear it repeats every letter in a word 4 times with a weird delay thus sounds like a freaking modem... not sure what is going on, but it's that good.
Wish i could get my money back... I like the model of this device, which is the only thing that seems nice at this point.
This item is a novelty.
Maybe an update happened to the way SL handles scripts and the device has not been updated to compensate?
Either way... it will now go to my "Crap bin" and collect virtual dust.
Basically sounds out each letter individually.
It just has a script that reads what you say letter by letter, doesnt sound out properly for words, its fun to mess with tho.

It might not be able to read things out perfectly, but it is really neat in general, the sheer volume of work that went into this must have been astounding. 5/5 stars for just the enjoyment I get out of finding how things are said.
