The Texture & Color Control (TCC) API will modify textures or colors or both in a whole object or any part of it down to an individual prim. Selections are made via on-touch or link-message-invoked menus.
It is simple to embed the TCC in your own products, no LSL knowledge is required. Enhance your products by giving your customers an option of effortless on-touch color/texture change and sell more! Works the same for ground-rezzed or wearable objects. Define your own colors and/or textures via open source dataset template. No configuration notecard needed.
The menu system is available either on touch or may be invoked from another script. The menu system access (owner/group/everyone) may be altered from another script.
The TCC Addon allows to fine-tune colors by RGB values via a Color Picker menu (Rev 1.2 and higher).
The Addon is included into the TCC Tools Professional Edition Gold (see related items) or available separately (see related items)
This version is transferable and comes with unrestricted license. It is intended for professional builders/makers. If want it just for your own use, buy a cheaper Home Edition instead (see related items). There is no difference, except for permissions.
Do not use this version for color/texture change in .XPOSE enabled products. For that we have a specifically designed .XPOSE Addon (see related items) which seamlessly integrates into .XPOSE menu system.

Finally!
I've been trying to find something like this for a while and other products either weren't cutting it or didn't have directions on how to use it. This one's really easy to figure out and use so kudos to an excellent product!
It's good, but...
I think to be better script, if it can see each name in Description not Object name. Because root prim becomes product name, so if I want to change color or texture of root prim, I must make one more wasteful prim for root.
Awesome
This product was very easy to use, the directions were easy to follow. The scripts had directions and gave examples making it very easy for someone with very little to no knowledge of scripting to follow. I had my project set up in a matter of minutes and I'm very satisfied with the results.
Good customer support
Not too difficult to use, if you know a little bit about scripts. My problem was I had bought the script several months ago and did not join the group. On a recent build, the script didn't work correctly so I contacted the scripter. She was nice and gave me the updated version which fixed my problem. I wish you didn't have to join the group for updates. Most scripters let you rez an item that identifies your version and it tells you know if it is up to date.
It Works
This product works for the most part. It is easy to set up different textures. However, if you or your customers chooses one of the color selections there was no taking the color out when tested. Applying white did not restore the texture color to it's original state. The reset function didn't work. I had to manually change the color on the item through SL edit on the object itself and take out all the color selection choices in the script to avoid this problem.
I am not sure that the no-mod script that must be included in the object won't render the whole object no mod for the next owner as one of the reviewer's noted It is something I will need to test before selling my products. Oftentimes, no mod is fine but others it is not a good thing.
And, as the other reviewer noted about the "tech group", all i heard in the group was MM boards or spam selling stuff. I heard no tech support going on so left the group after a couple of weeks. I guess if I need support I won't receive from the seller according to reply comments.
Don't expect technical support unless you join a spam group for women's clothes.
And here's one the creator couldn't or wouldn't answer for me: item is COMPLETELY nonmod with the script in it, no matter what you tick in the box you put it in, unless you set the ACTUAL ITEM to modify. It would've saved me a few hours for her to say that instead of insisting I join a spammy group to receive any more support. The script itself works, but this experience in general leaves a lot to be desired. I'm not about to start completely over with a huge furniture set, but I would not buy this script again, or anything else from this vendor.
