Wingsong Seg Box

I have never met anyone who did not want to ride a personal transporter. I’ve been wanting one for several years but haven’t been able to afford one. I’ve sulked about it, pouted about it, pined a little, whined a lot. But no PT!

So the other morning as I dragged my sleepy self into the shop my team of Mad Scientists greeted me with a round of big smiles. Now, you may not realize this, but my mad scientists aren’t known for their cheeriness. They are somber, dedicated, focused folks who have hearts of great joy in their creations but seldom take time to relay their joy to their faces.

Well, they made an exception this particular morning. They were absolutely GIDDY!

I said, “What is WRONG with you people?” To be truthful, I say this a lot to my team of Mad Scientists. They just grinned silly, and then in unison they all donned their own personal Wingsong Segs!

I squealed. I admit it freely. And then they gave me MY Wingsong Seg, and I’ve been riding it ever since!

Even though these are easily adjusted to fit any size of human-like avatar with knees and elbows, we’ve bundled up three pre-fit sizes for your convenience. Tinies without knees or elbows will appear distorted. But let me know if you want a tiny version and I’ll get my team on it right away at no additional charge!

As is our custom here at the dojo, we’ve crammed a mess of low lag, simple but fun scripts in the Wingsong Seg. Click the standing plate that connects the two wheels to toggle an illuminating yellow light on and off. Click the right wheel to toggle the power sound on and off. Click the left wheel to get a menu of nine fun sounds, including bells and horns and oh, all sorts of cool audio.

Your Wingsong Seg is embedded with five original Wingsong animations to provide you the realism and feel of REAL PT riding.

The wheels turn when you are in run and walk mode.

Because this is an attachment, you cannot have passengers. Because this is an attachment your Wingsong Seg will go anywhere you go!

To ride your Wingsong Seg, WEAR it from your inventory. It attaches by default to your pelvis. If you are wearing something else that is attached to your pelvis, like a tail or a skirt, select ADD from your inventory instead of WEAR. Then just move as you normally do.

It’s COPY/MOD, of course, so you can make all the copies you like and retexture them, resize them, recolor them for every occasion. Be sure to make a copy of your original one before you start piddling. You can add your own audio to the menu by the following process:

1 - click on your Wingsong Seg, right clicking the EDIT tool

2 - click a check mark into the box to the left of the EDIT LINK box

3 - click on the left wheel (you’ll see a blue highlight around the wheel)

4 - open your CONTENTS tab

5 - drag any sound you want from your inventory into the content tab

Your audio menu will update automatically. VERY easy.

We’re throwing in a FREE Wingsong Modify Box in case you don’t have a lot of experience with the edit tool. This is a very simply, easy to use tutorial that will have you copying and modifying anything in your inventory that you have copy/mod perms for. Plus, you get to play with BLOCKS!
