I need items for the scenes. I try to make a lot myself, but at times i want to get working and so I add cheap or freebies to my scenes that I alter or just use for their textures.
This is an example...
I had to change it though...
1 I found that this filingcabinet is too large... it is 2.5 meters high and 1,3 meters wide. For a filing cabinet that is huge, because there are only three drawers. I got one exactly like that in rl and it's 1.5 meters high.
2 it cuoldn't be resized unless you have builders skills. The reason is because the builder has attached prims that are 0.1 meters wide and that is the smallest a prim can get. Because the prims are linked the whole can't be made smaller.
3 The builder has added some prims that seem to be pointless...the drawers are separated from each other by flat prims that you can't see at the outside and so have no function otherwise as the drawers can't be opened..
4 the drawers are exactly fitted... in reality the drawers would not fit exactly, so you see spaces.
I unlinked the whole... took out some superfluous prims and resized it.. It is now 7 prims and blue...
I still would like thank the maker...it saves me on money(uploading textures) and time...
