The Château de Versailles in SL project is an immersive roleplay community located on the Versailles SIMs in Second Life. Our aim is to provide accessible knowledge about the "Ancien Régime" - the pre-revolutionary France - and at the same time to offer an enriching and unique environment to our visitors from all over SL. In other words we are a living history museum that gives residents of SL an opportunity to educate themselves through social interaction and by re-enacting the life of historical characters.
