Rackham Estate was establish as a trading company in 1708 by Edward Rackham. The company began its business importing rare gems from the orient and went on to expand its business into herbs and spices then eventual to many other exotic goods from the Orient. Today the family run business is run by Baron Mac Rackham, the 5th Baron of Rackham Estate.
