Not very detailed, very bland-looking
The game works as advertised, but that's about it. On the MP page, the picture of the game is small, so I had no clue on how much detail there was on the checkers pieces. Unfortunately, as I could see them in SL after my purchase, the checkers pieces are completely without detail. Only simple black and white textures are used. The pieces are also almost flat, like paper discs. I'm not allowed to make specific product comparisons in MP reviews, but i can tell you this: there are way more detailed checkers games out there, for much less money. Sadly, more expensive does not always mean better on MP. Still, three stars, because the game functions flawlessly. Nonetheless, the lack of detail doesn't not make it a very decorative set.
queens only one square?
really i didnt seen that. and for a playable cheekers its useless to have a queen that does the same like the others.

Seriously. Good quality, works like a charm, definitely worth the money, and low prim so it's perfect for people who want to play a game but don't want to waste 30 prims. Loooooove it!
AWESOME GAME - BUT READ my review for instructions for starting...
...if you are as clueless as i am, that is LOL. The creator was kind enough to IM this instruction (which i have revised slightly) to me when i had trouble:
When you rez the board, no game is started, no pieces are showed. The first avatar that clicks on it will get the black pieces, the second avatar that clicks on it will get the white pieces, and the game starts. If the first player accidentally touches the board twice, he has selected to be both players (black pieces and white pieces); in this case, simply click on the edge and select "Give Up" in the menu to end this game.
and did i say this is a great game? LOL yes! Low prims, playable, attractive and inexpensive. For such a low price, i know this was a labor of love for the creator.
