{DD} Wise Old Owl Tree w/HUD
Pictures can't do this item justice...The link below "See item in Second life" will take you directly to this item in world, just right click and pay the object if you prefer to shop in world to get group discounts.
Please note: Some of the pictures provided are of another tree in this line just to show some examples of textures etc.
I highly recommend coming by the in world store to see this tree in person due to the many variations in settings of computers and of windlights etc in SL itself. It
could look totally different to you here as it does in world. When you land use the store directory and teleport to outdoor items to use the rezzing
vendor.
There are benefits to purchasing in world such as special packaging and group
gifts and discount. ;)
Hope to see you there!
The cat in the tree does fade in and out/ glow just like the Cheshire ;)
Here's the instructions on the HUD:
1. On the lower right hand side of the HUD you see 6 squares/buttons with different textures on them.
1st is for floral (ish) foliage.
2nd is leafy (etc) foliage.
3rd is for the bark
4th is for the bark face or character
5th is for the animated light beams
6th is for the animated light spots on the ground
7th is for the hanging moss
2. When you click on one of these squares/buttons the textures will pop up under the word "Textures" (an orange line at the top tells you which panel is active at that moment)
3. Click on the different texture squares/buttons and choose the one you prefer.
4. You can also use the color tool by selecting anywhere within the big rainbow colored square.
The higher up on the spectrum the brighter more vibrant the color, lower on the spectrum the more muted the colors become, the strip next to the rainbow spectrum will show the color from light to dark, click within the strip to choose your lightness/darkness.
If you find a favorite color you can click on one of the side arrows> to save that color to a square.
Please keep in mind that coloring looks better on some textures than others.
5. You can also choose alpha and glow. To use these just click the up and down arrows to increase or decrease the amount you want click the X to turn off (it will take all glow away and all alpha).
On the alpha option there is also a button with an eye icon, that will make something totally transparent (if you use this and have glow on the item it will still show the glow, turn glow off if you want it completely invisible)...
The sun beams are where you will want to use the alpha and glow options the most.
For example, the first sunbeam option is very subtle so you may want to use no alpha or very little and lots of glow, some of the others are VERY prominent so you might want to use lots of alpha and a little glow on those.
There is also a shine option for low, med, and high (these will only show on the non alpha surfaces)
6. The light spots & moss do not have textures just the options for color, glow and alpha.
7. The bright button on the bottom turns bright on/off (if bright is on and its dark/night in the sim your in it will make the object "light up")
The extra stuffs:
1. The plus and minus icon buttons will make the item bigger and smaller but remember, making the item bigger will also bring the LI UP so keep an eye on that. You can make it from tiny desk size to HUGE if you want. (this tree will go from 12 to 23 prims)
2. "Group Join"- click this to get the URL in chat to click and join the group for updates etc.
3. The logo panel if clicked will ask if you want to go to our marketplace store.
4. The star will give you the LM to our in world store.
5. The paper icon will give you this NC.
6. The paper icon with the mountain pic will give you a picture of the product if provided.
7. The red circle with the arrow will reset the HUD. It will tel you in local chat when it's finished.
8. The speaker icon turns the clicking sound on/off when you click buttons.
9. The microphone is for when you want to say your own RGB.
Anything else is pretty self explanatory.
You'll want to play with this for hours but be warned the options are practically limitless! lol
