Crystal Rainbow Wand

Instructions:

Wear the wand and one of the enclosed wand HUDs (I have included 4 versions of the HUD, one for each side of the screen. Each one is functionally identical, so use whichever one fits best on your screen. The HUDs are mesh and modifiable, so they can be resized as necessary.)

The wand's spells and settings can be accessed by using the buttons on the HUD, by clicking on the wand, or by typing "/77 Main Menu". Optional command lines for the below abilities are included in parenthesis. Unless otherwise noted, the spells below require you to be on a land that allows you to rez objects.

Particle Effects - Turns wand particle effects on and off. (no rez rights required) (/77 Particle Effects)

Dust - Casts a spray of magic dust in front of you. (no rez rights required) (/77 Magic Dust)

Jolt Target - Sends your target several meters into the air. Lasts for a few seconds. Select a target using the "Select Target" button before use. (77 Jolt Target)

Trap Target - Summons a cage that will trap your target. If your target tries to sit somewhere to move, the cage will follow your target. Lasts for 5 minutes or until dismissed by using the "Stop Spells" command. Select a target using the "Select Target" button before use. (/77 Trap Target)

Projectiles - Toggles wand projectiles on and off. When projectiles are on, go into mouse-look and click the left mouse button to fire a rainbow magic blast. (Note: While this wand was designed for role-playing use, the projectiles are able to inflict minor damage on some collision-based combat meters, such as DCS2.) (/77 Projectiles)

Spells - Allows you to select additional spells that you can cast on avatars selected from the Select Target menu. (/77 Spells) Spells in this wand include:

Rainbow Beam - A rainbow beam appears around your target (/77 Rainbow Beam)

Rainbow Link - A rainbow appears between you and your target. If your target walks around, the rainbow beam will follow. Lasts until dismissed by using the "Stop Spells" command. (no rez rights required) (/77 Rainbow Link)

Small Rainbow - Casts a small rainbow above your target. Lasts for one minute or until dismissed by using the "Stop Spells" command. (/77 Small Rainbow)

Large Rainbow - Casts a large rainbow above your target. Lasts for one minute or until dismissed by using the "Stop Spells" command. (/77 Large Rainbow)

Wand Settings - This menu allows you to change the color of your wand's magic dust particle effects, and reset all scripts in the wand and HUD. (/77 Settings)

Select Target - Scans for up to 11 nearby avatars. Click on the name of the avatar you want to cast a spell on, or click on yourself. Once selected, the target name will appear as green floating text below or above the HUD. (/77 Select Target)

Stop Spells - Derezes any spells that have been cast using the wand. (/77 Stop Spells or /77 dismiss)
