GEORGIAN
During the Rococo Period , the British referred to their gowns as Georgian (as it was during the reign of King George). France led the fashion world ruing the late 18th century, and each of the other countries made their mark on their own gowns - adding their influence on them. The Georgian fabrics were generally deeper in color, and not as floral as those of the French. (However, there is a lot of cross over in that respect.) We also have the British to thank for the Mantua court gown styling (a truly elegant and extremely formal style which other countries embraced and made their own (by creating them with their own favorite colors and fabric patterns).
