This is a 3D mesh animal with a land impact of 1.
With this purchase you will receive:
1) A properly sized ground sloth scripted to randomly give off a call. The sound file is made by me and based on modern tree sloth calls. The script is mod ony, though the animal is provided as mod©.
2) An unscripted silent version of the same animal.
3) A museum specimen (see attached screenshot) with a land impact of 6.
The Harlan's ground sloth was an animal that inhabited North and Central America beween 10 million and 11 000 years ago.
It seems to have preferred areas of open grass or parkland, near to sources of water. It shared its habitat with Mamooths. It was a mixed feeder with grass being one or the main component of the diet.
This sloth also had wide claws, probably suited for digging.
The reasons behind the extinction of these and other ground sloths are uncertain, but it seems that climate change and human hunting both had a significant impact on the populations of these animals.
Enjoy!
