Ice Chest [G&S], version 2023 Version 2023

The ice chest is used to preserve ICE [G&S] for a longer period. It can only be bought from the Black Market and it can hold 100x ICE.
Attention: an ice chest does not *make* ice. It preserves raw ice, which can periodically be retrieved from the Black Market or bought from others.

You do not need an ice chest to preserve ice cream or ice cream products. The cooked products do not perish.
