Key Rings Mesh FULL Permission N&T Designs

I decided to take a chance despite what the previous reviewer before me said because they're the only set of NORMAL-LOOKING, full-perm, modern keys on the MP, and that review was written 11 years ago. And plus, $120L wouldn't be a tremendous loss. And, to my delight, that reviewer turned out to be wrong. THEY ARE full-perm. And they're gorgeous.

However, they're unsegmented. As in they're just one single mesh piece, there are no separate links here, which could be acceptable if not for the fact that the distribution of the texture faces on them are absolutely wonked out to all gitout and pretty much also unsegmented. The ring is one texture face, which is great. But three of the keys all share one texture face together, and the last key (the short one) is, for some reason, split across three separate texture faces.

This makes it so that it's impossible to script them in such a fashion that could result in each key performing a different function, except for the short key, which would still need to be handled in a very inefficient manner as you would need to code it to check for three separate texture faces being clicked.

They're 9 Li (no, not 11; they're 9 Li—maybe Li calculation has changed since these things were last reviewed, or maybe the maker put out an update, idk). For NINE LAND IMPACT on a friggin' KEY RING, though, I absolutely expect separate, manipulable links in a linkset.

So, between the 9 Li, which is still way too high for a rezzed object of this size, and the lack of segmentation, they're NOT ONLY useless for rezzed builds, but they're ALSO useless for being turned into a hud or some other scripted attachment unless you want basically 0 nuance in your tool. I'm really disappointed, 'cause these really are the best looking keys on the MP as far as I can tell, that aren't antique-looking or car-keys-looking. In fact, they seem to be the ONLY keys on the MP that are neither antique- nor car-keys-looking.

The item is great regarding texture quality. I wasn't even concerned about the 11LI. And the keys are nice to look at for sure, however, the key set is NOT full permissions meaning that you cannot manipulate each key separately as you could another similar car key group for half the cost. If you want to have a great looking set of keys, this is it! BUT, if you want to resell or create with these keys, what you see is exactly what you get without being able to edit your new sell.

Fair warning - they're 11 LI! I wish I'd read the comments before buying.

Like the reviewer before me, I wish I'd read the comments prior to purchase. Very realistic, which is what got the two stars, but the prim count is far too high for a rezzed object. This would, however, be perfect as an attachment.

I wish I had noticed the review that was left prior to my purchasing. The product is beautiful and so lifelike but completely unusable for building due it being 11 Land Impact! Seller needs to update their listing with prim information so others are not duped into buying these.

These keys are great. Very realistic. But they are 11 prims (land impact), so pretty unusable for me.
