Name Fountain Version 0.4.1

The Name Fountain emits floating text (e.g. names or short phrases). The names/text are taken at random, alternately from two lists. One list is on a notecard named "Names". The other list is comprised of text manually entered via a popup textbox that appears when the fountain is touched by anyone. The Name Fountain is a novel way to allow people to express their identity, thoughts, prayers, etc. There is also a "pay-to-add" option making it ideal for fundraising events, weddings, performer or venue tipping, etc.

Two versions are included. The "Cascade" version emits names from the top of the fountain the go up a little then slowly drift down to the ground. The "Zero Gravity" version emits the names from the top of the fountain and they drift upwards until they disappear as if there was no gravity.

The Name Fountain enables its owner to set the rate, speed, spread, and lifetime of the floating text emissions via the fountain's Description field. The text color can also be specified via either the Names notecard or the manual entries. If no color is specified, random colors will be applied. It also includes a resizer script for the owner to change the fountain's size.

The scripts, "Name" object and "Names" notecard can alternatively be place in an object of your own creation in case you wish to incorporate the effect into objects other than the included fountain.

The Name Fountain gives you the option to require users to pay the fountain before they are allowed to add a name. You can also specify a split percentage to be paid to another avatar. This has applications for various charity or other fund raising events. You enable the payment option by adding a "Money" notecard to the fountain's Contents (included in the supplied fountains). On the "Money" notecard you specify the default pay price and pay button amounts for the pay window as well as the uuid and split percent to pay to another avatar. There is an example "Money" notecard included in fountain. Omitting the "Money" notecard removes the payment requirement.
