The Nexus Security System is our first step into the world of parcel security systems, and we've made it a great one.
This system uses a proper touchscreen system! No invisible button prims or any of that stuff. A true touchscreen that detects where exactly on the panel you touched, and acts accordingly. The system itself, while keeping a slim, simple shape, is a meshed model, allowing for additional LED status lights without adding any prims!
Unlike many other security systems, this one is fully programmed to tell if a person is actually on your land or not, regardless of what the settings are. This ensures that no matter what happens, it will NEVER message or annoy anyone not on land owned by you. You can crank up the range without worrying!
In addition to the standard whitelist, it has an ops list, allowing you to add various people who'll have admin access to the Nexus. The owner is always hardcoded as an admin however, so you can never be locked out!
You can easily configure it from the security config menu, setting things like kicking delays, whether they're just ejected from your land or sent home, as well as the range.
The touchscreen has the added bonus of making the system self-contained. Normal dialog screens are actually messages on hidden chat channels being transmitted between the item and avatar. By using it's own custom touchscreen system, the Nexus doesn't transmit or scan or anything, meaning that everything is processed in the single script that powers it.
This way, the Nexus actually uses LESS server memory than most basic security orbs (while being far more advanced) and also removes the chance of the dialog messages being intercepted, or worse, faked, by a hacker. It even runs faster, responding faster to your commands than a simple dialog box would!
Like all of our products, the Nexus has been put through extensive beta testing, to ensure a bug-free experience. The testing on this product alone lasted two weeks!

you would think i would learn to read reviews
i am having the same difficulty as one of the other reviewers has.. it seems i am the only one who can enter my parcel, all others will be ejected because i am unable to add them to the white list. There must be a way as two of the reviews are positive. Maybe i am doing it wrong? giving it 3 stars only because i do not rule out user error
Problems.
I purchased this wanting to add managers so that they could manage the white list in the family home, have friends over and what not. Unfortunately the mesh itself came over NO MOD. I was unable to add any managers or anyone to the white list through the short menu system. The NC included oh wait, there was not one. From the local spam I understand now you add people to the NC's inside the system for white list and admins. But impossible with NO MOD on the mesh itself. This rendered the system USELESS. However I did IM the maker, no luck on reply. Had to buy from Nuralab, Should have gone there first, cost far less for great work.
