Regular doors and door scripts are boring.
Instead, use this script in a door, bookshelf, wall, window, or other object to turn it into a "secret" door. You can also use this script in a regular door, just so you can get the cool "fade open" effect.
Script causes the object to FADE open slowly on touch, collision, or Avatar detection (or any combination of these). Door remains open for 10 seconds (or a time you designate), allowing avatars to pass through.
Plays a sound when door opens (or use your own sound UUID, or no sound).

(OK for personal use, or to use in builds you sell. You may not re-sell or give away the script itself in any form).
Inside the script, you can easily edit your desired variables:
Open on TOUCH Yes/No
Open on COLLISION (walk thru) Yes/No
Open on AVATAR DETECTED Yes/No
Detection range X meters
Detection Timer X seconds
Sound on open (use a UUID from a sound you own if desired)
Door open time (10 seconds, or your choice)

Turns doors invisible on collision
Works great. Wish I had known fade means invisible before I spent the lindens since I just wanted the doors to auto open on collision and fade closed slowly....not fade to invisible. But the script is easy to understand and set up and it does work beautifully.
