Studio Skye presents this set of 10 beach rocks.
The idea is that these are rocks that sweep down into the sea (see pictures). They are designed to be layed on top of each other to make a large rock formation. Or use them more sparingly to add detail to a scene.

The Set Includes:
10 Boulder Shapes
3 rocks types - Sandstone and Volcanic PLUS Cliff Grey*
3 x variations on each rock type (clean, sandy, sea weedy)
*V2 Now includes a texture set to match Skye Modular Cliff Packs 1 to 3
Prim count: between 1 and 5 up to 12 meters (note that scaling will change prim count)
Note: The rocks have medium detail physics - you will bump into them and can stand on top of them, but you will notice some sink/float when standing on top. This is to achieve a realistic prim count.
Note: These rocks are designed with a natural top surface of drifted sand and seaweed and therefore have no underside. If you are looking for omnidirectional boulders see my set linked below.

if you buy this expecting it to look like the ad without tons of work and without using like 40 land impact to recreate the ad photo just don't.
I was a little surprised somehow that in buying rocks all i would get is.. rocks... Seriously though, I thought I could just buy this and easily rez something that looks like the ad photo. That is not the case, but I suppose that's my fault and this does deserve at least 4 stars nonetheless. Note the textures are a little drab.

Smaller than they look in the pictures
As stated, much smaller than they look in the photos, which seem to likely consist of a ton of them to appear larger. The prims for their size is a bit primmy and li won't go down if linking them. If you were looking for using them as a 'wall' for a parcel, they would be 300+prims. Skye's detail is great but there are nice detail rocks out there for far less prims. If you don't care about prims and only looks, then this is for you.

Purchased to match the modular cliffs but they lack the season textures to go with all the already expansive Bolt-On Texture from the 3 cliffs packs ...

but they need 4 Seasons, otherwise they really stand out in snowy landscape.
the normal rocks of the pebble beach parts stuff also get snowy textures with 4 seasons.
