"Stargazer Lily"

This painting, by C. McElroy, is set in a sculpted frame. You can switch between more than 30 different designs just by left clicking the frame. The painting is No Copy, No Modify, Transfer. You can, however, adjust the size of the frame and painting to fit your space.

Mrs. McElroy is a renowned artist in real life, with an unmatched understanding of color theory. Her floral paintings blur the edge between the real and fantasy in a very unique way. Truly, it is difficult to discern what parts of her works are from the real world, and what parts are from her imagination. These paintings can be found in galleries and private collections around the world.
Mrs. McElroy received her degree in 3-dimetional design in 2003 and has since created many wonderful sculptures, but in 2008 she found her true love in paintings on canvas. She has created numerous works since. Through the kindness in her heart, in 2011 Mrs. McElroy gave permission to place a few of her works here in Second Life.
As limited as the selection is, it is rare for an artist of this caliber to allow their work to be presented in this format at all. It is an honor to have this opportunity, and I hope her example inspires other great artists to follow this same path.
