look closely, These are made to give off a "glow" effect without having to use glow, simple set to full bright and they look perfect, including a gentle halo effect from the light. turn off full bright for a perfect "dimmed" effect. they can also be used in particle emitters or in digital numeric displays to represent values / numbers.
