Wind Turbine Box

These two wind turbines from Aso’s Solar Homes, will produce electricity in real-time. The speed and direction of each turbine will adjust with the Second Life wind. Each turbine has a dialog menu that you can use to show or hide real-time data that includes wind speed in m/s and km/hr and power output in Watts. For all those among you out there in the virtual world who would like to have data available for your own experiments, we have provided the values for power output on channel 93000 for the 2.5 metre and 9400 for the 3.5 metre diameter turbines. All messages use llWhisper(), as a way of minimising chance interference with other gadgets.

As part of the purchase of our wind turbines, you will also receive a Note-card that contains useful facts, figures and calculations.

The inclusion of the Copy permission will allow you to set-up your own wind farm facility and all at a single cost of only L$50.
