This is a packaging of ZHAO-II for readers of Chapter 2 of Scripting Your World: The Official Guide to Second Life Scripting (and anyone else who would like a copy). The contents of the box are identical to what you get from the original distribution point at Material Squirrel. Scripting Your World's in-world location is at SYW HQ, Hennepin 89/144/108
No animations are included.

This is the version discussed in Scripting Your World. If you want to take it apart and look at it from a scripting perspective while reading SYW, this is the version for you. If you want build your own AO, you are probably better off getting the latest free version from Material Squirrel.

Update: permissions should now be correctly full-perm

Thank you! This version of the ZHAO-II is getting harder and harder to find, but it is my favourite. Only two buttons on the screen, nice and clean the way I like it. Thanks for bundling this all up and making it available for free!

While the permissions are correct, I have looked over the ZHAO II and found almost the exact same limitations as on the original ZHAO. The ZHAO was considered to be a real find at the time. Unfortunately, it was only good because it offered better features than other popular AOs. There are many AOs that offer even better features still, but sadly, most of these are obscure or customized to / for the individual. I have one, for example, that offers variable list indexing of overriding animations. This allows an unlimited {well, until memory runs out} number of animations per override. Unfortunately, this AO has a really nice interface that is still under development, and it will be a while before it can be made available.
