Once placed you may need to do a little land editing.
This could also be good for an off sim accent by adding a new base prim then editing linked parts and pulling the base prim the distance you'd like away from the cove then go back to editing all parts to move it off sim leaving the new base prim inside the sim.

This is a "vintage SL" item. Meaning it was made back when you actually had to know how to build with prims!
They might also still have embedded animations and if animated will be using the MLP system which rezzes balls (you have to click on the item, big deal huh). There is NOTHING wrong with this menu system and sometimes it works better than the other (no ball type) animation menus.
