Use this kit to create customized baseball caps for resale, or as group gift or promotional gift.

The template cap is highly detailed, yet low-polygon, so the additional rendering cost is low. The Level of Detail of the mesh is optimised for viewing at long distances.

The kit includes several example textures as well as template maps (UV, ambient occlusion, and baked specular) that you can download and use as layers for creating customized textures.

The template cap front has a second face for conveniently adding your own logo.

* The builder is required to adhere to the following License Agreement

1. The Baseball Cap included in the kit can be redistributed with either of the following permissions:

• Mod, Copy, No Trans
• Mod, No Copy, Trans
• No Mod, Copy, No Trans
• No Mod, No Copy, Trans

2. The Baseball Cap included in the kit CAN NOT be redistributed with either of the following permissions:

• Mod, Copy, Trans
• No Mod, Copy, Trans

3. The textures included in the kit CAN NOT be redistributed. They can only be used as templates by the builder.

The front brim of the cap is kind of angular looking, not very round on the leading edge. I suppose the creator covered themselves by saying in the description, "The Level of Detail of the mesh is optimized for viewing at long distances", but I'm not sure why you would optimize a cap that way. Most people want things to look good up close too.

And the texture on the brim doesn't have any of the stitching that you would see on a RL cap. No detail on the snap back part of the hat either. Again, I guess that's because it's optimized to be viewed from far away, for reasons unknown.

I also wish it came with the dae files.

But it's only 200L, so it's good for the price, I guess.

This is exactly what I've been looking for on Marketplace. Texturing this hat couldn't be more easy, and I really appreciate the creator making a separate face for the front of the cap. This is definitely what you've been searching for if you're hoping to make your own hat designs!
