Been looking for a DJ Titler for a while, but it looks like lots of the offerings on MP stopped working a few years ago. But from the reviews, this - for the bargain price of L$10 - looked like it was still getting support. I did have some teething issues, but after sending a notecard to the creator and getting a very quick IM response I was up and running. ("Reset Scripts" folks!) Very happy customer!
Doesn't work
Does nothing and worse, some Wile E. Coyote decided that it should be invisible by default.
5 Star Service for a great bit of kit
My other DJ titlers stopped working so purchased this one. Initially, it was failing to read the updated configuration with my info in. Contacted creator Amethyst Ytelde who responded within minutes & after a brief discussion resolved the issue & provided an updated fully functional version My great Appreciation for this excellent response for what is, after all, a true bargain at L$10
Works as advertised, but...
The titler does as it says on the tin, but there are a few serious drawbacks, that makes it difficult to use.
First, to change the settings, you need to edit the object. This is not a process for a new user of SL.
Secondly, and more importantly - if you want to switch clubs - and thus switch streams - you can't without editing the notecard. This is a commonly changed setting and should be easy to change, such as with speaking to a channel or a menu option.
As advertised, and what a great price!
It works EXACTLY as it says, and is simple and easy. Up and running in seconds, make a copy BEFORE you change the configuration!
And only L$10 ? ? ? ?
If I could make ONE recommendation, I would like to see it write that info to chat, and would readily pay more for a version that does.
